Taken on a very chilly night in Canada's Northwest Territories.
On this particular night I headed out at 10pm or so not sure how the evening was going to unfold. I headed north of Yellowknife, NT to find a spot to setup, after an hour or so of driving I found my spot. I waited in the -27C (-16F) winter night watching my camera completely turn white with frost, after approximately a half hour the Aurora Borealis started to appear . Over the next two hours they danced and lit up the entire night's sky like I had never seen before.
Needless to say at 1:30am when they finally ended I was more than happy to walk back to my vehicle to warm up. I drove the entire way home with the heater on max!
