This was one of those rare nights where things just seem to come together, well with the exception of almost drowning my camera gear.
The tide on the Bay of Fundy is extreme, the largest in the world in fact. As I was shooting I suddenly noticed that many of the rocks I was focused on were gone. I hadn't noticed the quickly rising tide and the fact that it was about to envelope my camera bag which I of course left wide open. After retreating to slightly higher ground I managed to capture this image.
A very long exposure of almost 5 minutes giving the photograph a mystical feel.
